# Dottie MCP integration

## Scope

Keep working on a formation you have already contracted with Dottie, from the assistant you use every day.

This is a custom account connection. A public plugin directory listing and permission for service commerce are separate review processes.

## Tools

- get_profile: Identify the Dottie account you connected.
- list_my_formations: Find LLC formations already contracted and paid for by your account.
- get_formation: Read formation details, progress, missing information and signature status.
- update_formation: Update the company name, alternate names, members or business purpose before our team starts its review.

## Permissions and data

Read access shares your account identity and the details of your contracted formations with the assistant you connect. Edit access also allows changes to intake details before operations review. Each request is checked against your account and permissions.
Scopes: dottie:read and optional dottie:formation:write.
A formation must belong to the authenticated account and already be paid. Writes require its latest revision and are locked once operations review begins.
Document contents, government identifiers, payment credentials and internal staff notes are not returned by these tools.

## Boundaries

- Documents, identity information and signatures are handled in your secure Dottie portal.
- The plugin does not create purchases, collect payments or add services.
- Our operations team handles filings. The plugin does not submit an LLC or sign documents for you.
- Dottie does not provide legal or tax advice.

## Request limits

One JSON-RPC message per HTTP request. No batch arrays. Maximum request: 32 KiB and 512 elements.
401 means connect or reconnect the account. 429 means pause and respect Retry-After. Do not retry a stale revision blindly; read the current formation again.

Revocation invalidates access and refresh tokens. Global Firebase session revocation also invalidates the linked OAuth session.
